The DJM-250MK2 has inherited some of the professional features of the popular DJM-900NXS2, such as the Magvel crossfader and Sound Color FX filter. Straightforward controls, a clear layout, and dedicated 3-band isolators let you scratch and mix instinctively. The dithering technology on this mixer results in warm, high-quality audio from both analogue and digital sources. Plus its built-in sound card lets you connect the mixer to your PC/Mac and use rekordbox dj to perform with CDJs. Or hook up the DJM-250MK2 to turntables and use rekordbox dvs in combination with Pioneer"'s control vinyl to scratch and mix with digital files stored on your computer.
Key Features
The clear layout of the DJM-250MK2’s lower half gives you freedom to perform complicated scratch techniques. Pioneer"'s robust Magvel Faders ensure smooth control over long-term use. 2 metal shafts support the fader knobs, while the contact-free magnetic system is designed to endure millions of movements.
Precise, fluid mixes are a breeze using the mixer’s channel faders, and the 3-band isolators give precision across the highs, mids and lows. You can use them to totally eliminate each frequency range when you turn the knob all the way to the left.
Each channel comes with its own dedicated Sound Color FX filter, a feature inherited from the DJM-900NXS2 mixer. Simply turn the knob on each channel to apply the filter, Twist the parameter knob for texture, playing with resonance and tension.
Connect the DJM-250MK2 to your PC/Mac using a single USB cable via the built-in USB sound card. The USB connection supports sound input and output, so you can record your mixes to your computer’s hard drive.
You get a free rekordbox dj licence key bundled with this mixer. Simply activate your licence key for our DJ software, connect to your computer via USB, and start DJing. You also get a free licence key for rekordbox dvs included in the box for low-latency scratching with CDJs and XDJs. Or play and scratch with tracks from your rekordbox library using analogue turntables and the Control Vinyl (sold separately).
Hear the true, high-quality sound of your tracks whether you’re playing from digital or analogue sound sources thanks to the mixer’s dithering technology. The DJM-250MK2 lets you plug both an ¼-inch stereo jack and 3.5-mm mini jack. Pick your size or attach 2 headphones when playing back-to-back. The XLR terminal and RCAs deliver premium sound quality on all connections. And the signal GND terminal easily attaches ground wires from analogue turntables.

Great portable speaker.
Loving this new addition. No cables needed and very low latency. Can't even notice it. Great for being portable and I use it as a sub in my music room. Battery life is great and it's easy to set up.

Kinda essential upgrade
Thanks for the advice and quick postage. Upgraded from 2M red to the blue stylus. Night and day in terms of accuracy. Don’t think just buy the blue if you have a red currently. Not an audiophile but difference was extremely noticeable. Put on a project debut carbon.

Great mixer!
Loving my new mixer. It's great to get rid of extra cables for my old sound card, and I'm enjoying all the extra effects that my DJM 800 didnt have. This was delivered really quickly and there was great communication from Mix Foundation.

No Frills work horse
Can't go wrong with a solid performing workhorse head shell prewired for you to just fit the cartridge. It is an SME bayonet fit - for "S" shaped tone arms like that used by technics on their Turntables and you just cannot ask for more at the price point. Works well for both the 2M and the new MC X range of cartridges. I have a 2M Black MM and X40 MC fitted to this head shell - no problems working well.

Right out of the box - no run-in it sounds open and transparent.
Open and transparent - solid bass, beautiful mid range and highs.
Tight is the word and low surface noise.
With everything equal - sound is open, extracting all there is in the grove.
A step up - yes - from the 2M black.
40 hours they say to run-in - going to be a sound experience.
Best buy for me - sure to bring me pleasure for hours.
A worthy cartridge to try and a keeper.

This product is really great! I'm impressed. It fit's very snugly and offers support and protection in a very clever and simple way. I've not had to test it, but I feel confident it will do what it says on the tin.....just not maybe under the weight of a human....but you never know! :) I recommend it!
