ZLX G2 is the second generation of the phenomenally successful ZLX series of portable loudspeakers. Building on the best of what made the original ZLX series an industry icon, the ZLX G2 lineup offers a range of next-level features and functionality and includes 8” (new for the series), 12” and 15” two-way models in both powered and passive versions.
When Electro-Voice introduced the first-generation ZLX series in 2013, the goal was to bring real pro-audio performance to a more accessible price point than ever before, combining superior Electro-Voice sound quality with lightweight-yet-robust construction and breakthrough configuration and control. Users around the world soon took notice, and ZLX’s proven performance and day-to-day reliability quickly positioned it as the undisputed industry benchmark – the first and best in the product class it created.
Now, adding to the momentum of well over one million ZLX units delivered globally, ZLX G2 steps up as the sequel to that success story. The point of entry into the Electro-Voice portable loudspeaker portfolio, ZLX G2 builds on its predecessor’s winning formula with increased maximum SPL, frequency range, durability and connectivity, along with a range of ergonomic refinements.
The standout audio quality that made ZLX the go-to choice for both musical performance/playback and spoken-word applications has been levelled-up with ZLX G2. Maximum SPL has increased to 129 dB (ZLX-15P-G2), and premium components behind the grille ensure ZLX G2 offers stunning acoustic performance for everyday use. The woofer and compression driver in each ZLX G2 model are coupled to a patented SST (Signal Synchronised Transducers) ported waveguide, enhancing low-frequency extension and delivering even vertical and horizontal coverage across all frequencies – all while allowing a more compact form factor. ZLX G2 packs a sonic punch that’s worthy of the Electro-Voice name.
ZLX G2 powered versions are “Powered by Dynacord” – onboard premium electronics from Electro-Voice’s sibling brand. Ultra-efficient 1000 W Class-D power amplifier modules feature an integrated four-channel, three-input digital mixer with high-quality effects. The mixer includes two XLR/TRS combo jacks and provides 24 V phantom power and Hi-Z compatibility. The mixer also includes pro features such as AFS (automatic feedback suppression), ducking, compression, loudspeaker delay settings and more.
Five system mode settings are available: Music, Live, Speech, Club and FRFR (full range, flat response). New for ZLX G2 and a unique feature in this product class, the FRFR setting offers a flat/neutral frequency response to produce accurate results when used with modelling processors and guitar cab simulators. Powered ZLX G2 loudspeakers also contain Electro-Voice-specific subwoofer presets that adjust for both gain and time alignment, resulting in full acoustic optimisation. Additional high pass (HP) filters are available in the DSP for increased compatibility.
All ZLX G2 loudspeaker and mixer functions can be remote-controlled and monitored using the Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile app, available for iOS and Android. The app allows pairing and grouping of up to six Bluetooth®-equipped Electro-Voice portable loudspeakers, in any combination. Users can wirelessly pair and link to two ZLX G2 loudspeakers in a stereo setup using Bluetooth® true wireless stereo streaming. Local configuration can be completed in seconds using the single-knob encoder with LCD. The new, full-colour LCD is larger and higher resolution, offering a crisp, clear view of system settings. ZLX G2 makes sounding great simple for users of all levels.

Talked to the staff via phone who advised me on a cheaper and a better suited cover to the SL1200. Really happy with choice of product and (for my needs) a better alternative cover than what I originally was going to order. Great service! However the 2 covers were stacked when packaged and took 20 minutes of separating and stress of breaking. Just a thought for packers when sending. However 5 star product and phone service!

Absolutely Loving My Denon DJ Prime 4+
The team at Mix Foundation were awesome to deal with. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about helping me find the right gear.
The Prime 4+ is a fully standalone 4-deck DJ controller powered by Engine DJ, it gives you complete creative freedom without needing a laptop. Just fit a SATA drive and have all your music available directly on the device.
The vibrant 10.1-inch multi-touch screen is incredibly responsive, making track browsing, waveform editing, and FX control feel intuitive and fluid. One of its standout features is Wi-Fi streaming support, giving you instant access to services like Apple Music, Amazon Music, Beatport, TIDAL, and SoundCloud Go+ right from the controller.
Another feature I love is the onboard FX, which are high quality and versatile, with sweeping filters, echo, delay, and reverb, all easily customisable. The stem separation is simply mind-blowing, letting you isolate vocals, drums, or instruments with a tap. The Prime 4+ a powerhouse for DJs of all levels! I had my partner rocking on the device within 15 minutes and she pulled off a stunning mix using just stems.
Overall I am very happy with the decision to purchase the Denon product. It just made more sense, from a price vs features point of view and I'm having lots of fun...reliving my youth and getting back into mixing...love it!

Definitely the most expensive unit in my set-up. But it has elevated everything running through it. I do not DJ, and the only reason I went for DJ mixers in the first place was 1: I needed a phono preamp and 2: I needed an equaliser. High-end audio gear do not have good equalisers. You are lucky to get treble and bass control. I NEED MID. This beast has a 4 band equaliser! More control over my mids then I ever had. But the sound quality? Crisp and clean. Listening to my records in a new light. These phono pre amps do not disappoint. I get 4 separate inputs for my two turn tables, one for my digital, and even one just for my cassette. But the Sound card. Wow. Running digital straight to the mixer sounds amazing. And I can even record off it. And I have been able to rig up to a new MilkDrop 3, so now all my analog music gets this amazing backdrop of colours to go with it. Brings me back to the good old days with Winamp. Messing around with the crunch setting has also been a lot of fun, feels like a guitar amp with the overdrive, and you can even run an effects pedal loop! Also, having a separate EQ for the booth out makes getting that sound perfect, even easier. Three thumbs up!

This is my second pair of HDJ headphones, I was running worh Technics headphones for years then got my 1st HDJ pair 7 years ago.
Superb sound from these. sennheiser are way to flimsy for me, the Pioneers have held up really good. So much so Im on my second pair. I take my hat off to Pioneer for thos series of headphone.
