SLAB is a dedicated MIDI pad controller built to supercharge Serato Studio, turning a laptop into a fast, hands-on beat workstation. As soon as SLAB is connected, Serato Studio unlocks in full at no extra cost, giving creators an immediate route into album-ready beats, remixes, flips & sketch sessions.
A focused layout keeps production flowing, with a transport section for play, record & navigation, plus a multifunction dial with Focus Control for tweaking plugin parameters on the fly. An OLED display, 4 touch-sensitive encoders, and 16 velocity- & aftertouch-enabled RGB pads make chopping samples, triggering drums & riding Pad FX feel direct, expressive & musical.
A 130 mm LED long-stroke touch strip adds fluid control over filter, pitch, FX level & groove, while the Stems Level function lets users rebalance vocals, melody, drums & bass from the hardware when working in Serato Studio, Serato Sample or Serato DJ Pro. Compact, USB-powered & smaller than A4, SLAB is built for serious production in any space.

Fantastic peice of gear. Just what I need for my vinyl set up. Sounds amazing, nice warm bass. Plenty of bells and whistles to play around with.
Fx channels are super fun to add an extra element to your mix.
Can't figure out how to scratch on the jog wheels bit disappointed about that
Hi Shane, sorry to hear you are having an issue. This will be software related rather than a fault with the unit - we suggest contacting Serato support via the Serato website. They will be ale to troubleshoot this for you and hopefully resolve it.
