Definitely the most expensive unit in my set-up. But it has elevated everything running through it. I do not DJ, and the only reason I went for DJ mixers in the first place was 1: I needed a phono preamp and 2: I needed an equaliser. High-end audio gear do not have good equalisers. You are lucky to get treble and bass control. I NEED MID. This beast has a 4 band equaliser! More control over my mids then I ever had. But the sound quality? Crisp and clean. Listening to my records in a new light. These phono pre amps do not disappoint. I get 4 separate inputs for my two turn tables, one for my digital, and even one just for my cassette. But the Sound card. Wow. Running digital straight to the mixer sounds amazing. And I can even record off it. And I have been able to rig up to a new MilkDrop 3, so now all my analog music gets this amazing backdrop of colours to go with it. Brings me back to the good old days with Winamp. Messing around with the crunch setting has also been a lot of fun, feels like a guitar amp with the overdrive, and you can even run an effects pedal loop! Also, having a separate EQ for the booth out makes getting that sound perfect, even easier. Three thumbs up!

Early days but it's living up to expectation of extracting all the information out of the grove with its line contact Shibata stylus. It's the modern equivalent of the Shure V15 III with the MicroRidge stylus.
Wide soundstage, detailed delivery, strong bass, amazing mid range.
Certainly, unforgiving and won't take prisoners of lesser vinyl records.
Good modern premium Moving Magnet cartridge.

These are great headphones! Slightly smaller so they dont cover the whole ear however they are very comfortable. I like the plastic ear coating instead of material which perishes in no time. The sound, fabulous - I use these for my DJ work and they are great.

Super helpful staff (the man Mike Haru!) and a smooth easy transaction.
I had originally bought a stylus but found I didn't need it after all, and Mix Foundation were happy for me to replace it with an Ortofon Cartridge and stylus.
Good to be buying from staff who've been the in the game for decades and know what they're selling.
I highly recommend Mix Foundation for anything DJ related.

i have used a range of mics over the years from akg rhode and sure.my mic of chioce has always been my buddy holly Shure which they still make.My buddy holly is well over 25 years old and I looked for a new mic.
after looking at the super buddy holly I settled on the Shure Nex8s based on specs.So far this mic seems well worth the extra cost.From a warm low to a high volume growl with overtones it enables a huge range of vocal techniques.Highly commended

Hi Paul, did you purchase it fom us what's your order number as I can't find it under your name? The Mini InnoFADER Plus is not the correct fader for the DJM-S9 - the Innofader PNP3 is recomened for the DJM-S9.
