An all-new 4-channel controller for rekordbox, rekordbox iOS and Serato DJ that inherits club-standard layout. A brand new “GROOVE REMIX” feature that allows you to freely manipulate drums parts and create new remixes.
You can easily remix drum parts and perform remixes on the fly with the DDJ-GRV6, thanks to its new Groove Circuit feature which is available in rekordbox and enables you to manipulate the music in ways that are impossible with a conventional DJ controller. Simply press one of the dedicated buttons to swap the drum part of any track with a beat or break in a completely different genre while it’s playing, then add effects if you want it to sound even more unique. When used with Serato DJ Pro, the DDJ-GRV6 can manipulate and separate Stems using the Stems FX feature.
With a layout inherited from CDJ + DJM setups, the DDJ-GRV6 helps you get a feel for playing on club-standard equipment, so you’ll be able to transfer your skills and feel at home when you step into the booth. The controller also includes the Smart Rotary Selector and Discover function, which both help you to browse and select tracks quickly and intuitively. And the DDJ-GRV6 can be used with PC/Mac or mobile devices, enabling you to start DJing right away with your preferred device.
Groove Circuit: freely manipulate drum parts and create new remixes
With the Groove Circuit function, you can easily create remixes by simply pressing the dedicated buttons. This enables you to replace the drum parts of a track – even while it’s playing – with different drum loops, changing them into different genres and performing unique remixes effortlessly. And, by applying effects to the drum parts, you can easily create fills, build-ups, and breakdowns. By freely manipulating the drum parts, you can perform innovative and creative live remixes. *The Groove Circuit function is only available on rekordbox for Mac/Windows. *For rekordbox for iOS/Android, the function is linked to the sampler and others. *For Serato DJ Pro, the function is linked to Stems FX (read on for more info).
Groove Circuit features:
Drum Swap You can replace the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck, even when it’s playing, with different drum loops at the push of a button. To help you enjoy this feature as soon as you unbox the DDJ-GRV6, you can download a free pack of 40 loops in a variety of genres.
Drum Roll/Trans Easily create impromptu drum rolls, add fills to transitions, and build up tracks by applying the Roll or Trans effect to drum parts.
Drum Release Apply Release FX to drum parts to easily create breakdowns.
Capture Extract only the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck and capture them so you can drop them into another track later.

Its a decent controller, not as well made as the ddj-1000 but better made then the flx-6. It's cool that it has the layout like the ddj-3000, but having the hotcue/pad fx buttons above the jog wheels i find i often bump the jog wheels accidently though. It is a little annoying you have to press shift to bring up pad fx. The new drum sample buttons are really cool to play around with. And stem functionality is cool, though feels a little jank. My main issue is that you have to use rekordbox 7 which seems very badly optimized compared to previous versions. Hopefully they optimize it better and improve their stem algorithms as time progresses.
Comparing this to my old 1210's - feels like a solid upgrade, the motor and the plater feels great with a lot of power, matching speeds and beat-matching is easy and that was most important to me. The layout of the other controls and ports etc could be better (in my opinion) but I will get use to it. Thanks team for a prompt dispatches and help on these and hope they will last me a lifetime.

Hi Maria, the Decksavers are actually made of polycarbonate which is much stronger than regular plastic. They are pretty good value for the protection they offer. We get a lot of repairs back at the shop that have had liquid spilled in the unit - the cost of the repair is much higher than if they had purchased a Decksaver to keep liquid out.
I bought this cable to replace the USB-A to UCB-B cable that came with my mixer. This is more convenient as I can plug it directly into my laptop's USB-C port instead of a hub which I had to do with my previous cable. The bright colour helps me to identify my cable easily. Grant also gave me call before dispatching my item to offer some extra personalised service which was a nice touch. My order was dispatched same day and received on the next business day.
