Activate the bundled rekordbox dj licence key to experiment with different DJ styles and discover your favourite. You can perform with music stored on USB drives, access your library through Link Export or use Performance mode via your laptop - the choice is yours. The 7-inch colour screen enables you to keep an eye on your beats as you put your own spin on tracks using dedicated Beat FX and Sound Color FX. Equipped with everything you need to create unique mixes on the fly, you'll be filling dancefloors in no time.
KEY FEATURES
PLAY YOUR OWN WAY The XDJ-RR lets you choose how you'd like to perform. You can plug in your USB drive and play tracks directly, use Link Export mode to access your entire rekordbox library via your laptop without needing to export your music to a USB drive, or, if you'd prefer, you can connect your PC/Mac with a single USB cable to harness Performance mode in rekordbox dj. It's all up to you.
LARGE COLOUR SCREEN See what's happening on both players simultaneously via the 7-inch colour screen. Keep an eye on the playback status, BPM, waveform, and other information vital to performing creative, smooth sets.
PERFORMANCE CONTROLS Enhance your mixes using dedicated buttons for performance features. Remix tracks live by triggering Hot Cues in fresh sequences, chop loops on the fly with Beat Loop, use Slip Loop to re-introduce tracks in the perfect place, and bounce to the bar of your choice with Beat Jump.
MIXER WITH PRO FEATURES Deliver fine-tuned mixes with the help of EQs and channel faders which feature the same curves as those on our professional club mixer, the DJM-900NXS2. You can also customise your routines with the popular Beat FX - Echo, Reverb and Flanger - and dial up the texture and tension with Sound Color FX - Filter, Noise, Dub Echo and Pitch.
REKORDBOX DJ The XDJ-RR comes bundled with our professional performance application, rekordbox dj, so you can simply activate your licence key and power up to start DJing straight out of the box. Unlock even more features by combining the XDJ-RR with our DDJ-XP1 sub controller (available separately) and the crowd won't know what hit them.

I bought this to take to a weekly cocktail bar gig. It is the perfect size to transport and set up and has a solid build. No laptop needed so you can just prep a USB with Rekordbox and all you need is the tables, USB and a set of headphones. Also has a handy second USB slot for recording live gigs or doing mixes for Soundcloud, YouTube, Mixcloud etc. I do another night at a spot that has a set of CDJ-2000NXS2 and the transition is flawless so you can practice at home on this set before taking your USB and playing larger scale gigs or festivals on house tables. The effects on this mixer are more than enough - all the main ones you need for transitioning and to have fun with the tracks. I am glad I bought this locally with Mix Foundation as the team there were fast to respond with questions and sent the unit to me overnight at a low shipping cost.
Comparing this to my old 1210's - feels like a solid upgrade, the motor and the plater feels great with a lot of power, matching speeds and beat-matching is easy and that was most important to me. The layout of the other controls and ports etc could be better (in my opinion) but I will get use to it. Thanks team for a prompt dispatches and help on these and hope they will last me a lifetime.

Hi Maria, the Decksavers are actually made of polycarbonate which is much stronger than regular plastic. They are pretty good value for the protection they offer. We get a lot of repairs back at the shop that have had liquid spilled in the unit - the cost of the repair is much higher than if they had purchased a Decksaver to keep liquid out.
I bought this cable to replace the USB-A to UCB-B cable that came with my mixer. This is more convenient as I can plug it directly into my laptop's USB-C port instead of a hub which I had to do with my previous cable. The bright colour helps me to identify my cable easily. Grant also gave me call before dispatching my item to offer some extra personalised service which was a nice touch. My order was dispatched same day and received on the next business day.
