Official J Dilla Serato release! Donut Shop is the result of a special collaboration between Serato Pressings, Stones Throw and the J Dilla Estate. This limited edition set includes 2 discs featuring 6 previously unreleased Dilla tracks, 2 sides of Serato Control Tones (for use with Serato Scratch Live), and 2 exclusive Donut slipmats. The whole thing comes in a handsome package designed by Studio No. 1.
The J Dilla tracks themselves were selected by J. Rocc from the Dilla archives and feature three previously unreleased instrumentalstracks ("Safety Dance," "Sycamore," and "Bars & Twists") as well as three unreleased instrumental versions of Dilla tracks with Mos Def, Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip, each remastered by Elysian Masters who mixed and mastered J Dilla's Donuts, The Shining and Ruff Draft albums. Must have release for Dilla fans and Serato users alike. Recommended!
