Technics was founded in 1965 in Kadoma, Osaka, Japan. It all started with the SP-10, the first direct drive turntable for the professional market, followed by the SL-1100 for the consumer market. Then came the SL-1200 MK1 in 1972 and the legendary SL-1200 MK2 in 1979. The SL-1200 series stood as the benchmark professional turntables for 38 years until their discontinuation in 2010. So have a look around at the fully refurbished Technics turntables, official Technics merchandise and original Technics spare parts that we offer here at Mixfoundation!
